Caribbean Journal's Best Beach Bars - Alcohol Free Version

Writer's picture: Chrissy GatesChrissy Gates

When Caribbean Journal posted their “Best Beach Bars in the Caribbean,” I knew that I had to delve a bit deeper into the search, and see if any of these beachfront properties offered non-alcoholic adult beverages. And I was pleasantly surprised to see that a few offered some delicious zero proof beverages perfect for those who abstain from alcohol.

As a former boozy Caribbean girl, the act of sipping a delicious beverage with my toes in the sand was always a great part of my island getaway.

That includes taking a ride out to various beach bars, which are in truth some of my most magical memories.  And it wasn’t solely for the alcoholic beverage that I held in my hand, but more about the beauty that surrounded me. But just because one removes alcohol from their life, doesn’t mean they have to sacrifice experience.  It doesn’t matter what’s in your glass.  But gone are the days when soda and juice are your only options.  Today’s market offers a bevy of delicious non-alcoholic adult options.

Here are the top three beach bars with alcohol free options:

The tropical outdoor patio at Catherine's Cafe with wooden furniture and green shutters. Palm trees and plants surround the setting; blue sky and clouds above.
Catherine’s Café  Pigeon Point in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua

Looking for a bougie beach bar? The gorgeous Catherine’s Cafe is a French inspired restaurant located on the Beach at Pigeon Point in Falmouth Harbour, Antigua. With an extensive Mocktail list and daily entertainment, they put a beachy twist on luxury dining.

Lily’s is a lively beach bar located at the Skylark Resort in Negril, Jamaica. Enjoy non-alcoholic cocktails, house made ginger beer and our favorite- Coffee Date Shake: cold brewed coffee, dates, bananas, milk and honey! Toes in the sand, drink in hand, and a clear head is what we like!

Take a trip to the gorgeous Jost Van Dyke located in the British Virgin Islands! This beachfront favorite features three signature non-alcoholic cocktails all crafted with fresh, homemade ingredients. A little beach volleyball and plenty of time to chill.

As someone who helps navigators steer through the best travel experiences without alcohol, beach bars like Catherine’s, Miss Lily’s, and Hendo’s are gems.

They demonstrate how the industry adapts to include everyone in the celebration and showcase how a beach bar experience isn’t confined to alcoholic drinks. These spots offer a way to enjoy the local culture and socialize over superbly crafted drinks, ensuring memories as clear and vivid as their stunning ocean views.

So, whether it’s your lifestyle choice or just a day’s preference to skip alcohol, the evolving scene of beach bars in 2025 ensures you have exciting, delicious, and inclusive options.

Let’s raise our glasses (filled with mocktails, of course) to more thoughtful, creative, and welcoming beachside beverages! Cheers to healthy sips and unforgettable trips!
